On-Site Training Guidelines

The following list provides a set of guidelines that should be used when scheduling training
outside of our established training centers. Following these guidelines will be instrumental in
creating a rewarding training experience for both the customer and our training staff.

  • A Purchase Order is required before an on site training class is OFFICIALLY placed on the calendar (2 weeks prior to scheduled training date). Sales reps/customers may discuss available dates with the training department; however, the date will not be
reserved until the PO is received.
  • All travel and living expenses for the instructor are not considered part of the training price and will be billed at cost.
  • A training facility must be established and reserved by the customer.
  • A projector must be provided in the training room.
  • All training computers must be networked together (via hub or switch).
  • The customer is responsible for making lunch arrangements for each class day.
  • Our instructor must have access to the facility one day prior to the start of training for setup.
  • The training facility must be secured after hours to protect training equipment.
  • Computers must meet the minimum specifications for the software being used in the training course.
  • Recommended software for the course must be preloaded on the computers (unless instructed otherwise).
  • Cancellation charges are 50% of Purchase Order amount (cancellation within 1 week of training course). Wonderware West will provide computers for the training course at additional cost to the customer. It is, however, the responsibility of the customer to provide appropriate power for thecomputers and monitors.
